Reading all the thoughts already listed here made me smile so much … It was always such a pleasure to have you visit Kentons Lane, although it was usually to correct some of our “DIY” efforts, which you always did a wry smile. But you were always incredibly generous your time and keen to help us out. You were also one of Deportivo’s most ardent fans and I can picture you there on the touchline cheering us on, despite us playing in some pretty dubious locations around West London. Like many others, I have vivid memories of you trotting out in your 60s against the Chelsea Legends and playing a blinder, putting us 20-somethings to shame! You were a terrific, funny and much-loved father, husband, grandad, uncle and friend and will be missed so much by everyone around you. Rest easy Ray. Love Matt
