Ray was a wonderful man, a true friend and simply one of the best. Ray helped us with jobs around the house that to me were horrifying, but to him seemed easy and no trouble at all, I was always in awe of his skills and the final result. I can remember the many Chelsea trips in England and around Europe when his sense of humour kept us all laughing, despite when we were lost. Choosing restaurants and bars was always interesting with him and Bob. My memories are endless and I cannot believe he has been taken from us far too soon. I’ll miss sitting with him at the Bridge and his, so very perceptive, comments at half time about things I’d not noticed in the first half. All I can say is thank you Ray for nearly 60 years of friendship and companionship I’ll never forget you. To one of the very best, cheers Ray Michael
